If something the shop fixed breaks within 24 months or 24,000 miles, it's covered free -- parts and labor -- at any location nationwide.
What happens:
Some parts come with their own warranty from the manufacturer -- separate from the shop's warranty.
Example: Your alternator breaks after 26 months. The shop's warranty covers 24 months, so that's expired. But the alternator manufacturer's warranty is 3 years, so it's still covered by them.
What you need to know:
Your engine and transmission are covered for 3 years or 100,000 miles, at any location nationwide, approved by the manufacturer and Vehicle Reman.
